As you can see, there were a dozen more new listings in '08 than in '07, though the median list price went down just over $60K. House sales were also 9 up over the prior year, though the median sale price went down $100K (this, by the way, doesn not mean that property values have gone down $100K, just that people are buying houses in a lower price range). Average days on market decreased by almost 2 months and the average list-to-sale percentage went up a little - 2/10 of a percent. The number of properties that did a price reduction before they received an acceptable offer decreased dramatically - over 25% less.
