GRASS VALLEY AND SLIDE FIRES

| This shot was taken from the dam on Monday morning around noon or so. This is the Grass Valley fire that started in Deer Lodge Park and pushed southwest, burning many homes on the northwest side of the golf course area. |

| This is a photo of the Slide Fire which started near the Green Valley Lake area. This is also taken from the dam at about noon on Monday. This is the fire that spread into the communities of Green Valley Lake and Running Springs and destroyed many homes. |
