Life for Greg Steffens almost started at the corner of 40th and Waterman Avenue at the bottom of the hill when Greg's mom pleaded with his dad to run the red light because she didn't think she would make it to St. Bernardine's Hospital in time.   Fortunately, they did make it and Greg was brought home from the hospital to his parents' home in Skyforest.  This was the only home Greg knew growing up and his folks live there to this day.   Greg attended school in the Rim of the World School District from his first day of kindergarten through his last day of high school.  After graduating from high school in 1990, Greg attended Humboldt State University in the redwoods of Northern California where he studied Wildlife Management.  Shortly after returning from college, Greg was hired by a local real estate company as a property manager for their full-time and vacation rental business and earned his real estate license in 1997.  Greg worked in the rental department for about five years learning the "ins-and-outs" of purchasing, renting, maintaining, and managing rental properties.   In 2001, Greg was invited to join Coldwell Banker Sky Ridge Realty.  He was mentored by a very successful and long-time Realtor and soon became a multi-million dollar producing, award-winning Realtor.   Michelle was born and raised in the Pasadena/La Canada area and visited Lake Arrowhead often with family and friends as she grew up.  She has many fond memories of vacations spent going to the Village, water skiing, Santa's Village and snow sledding.  Michelle's parents owned a vacation home in Lake Arrowhead and, once Michelle finished high school, they moved to the mountains on a full-time basis. Michelle graduated from Flintridge Preparatory School in 1999 and then earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from UC Santa Barbara in Classical Studies.   After college, Michelle worked in the insurance industry until she joined Greg at Coldwell Banker Sky Ridge Realty in 2005 as an unlicensed real estate assistant.
